The FTTX cryptocurrency exchange has won a tender to buy back the assets of the bankrupt Voyager Digital crypto-lender, CoinDesk reports.
According to a Voyager press release published late on Monday, the FTX US bid was estimated at about $1.4 billion. Thus, the exchange giant won the "auction war" over Wave Financial, a company providing financial services and software for small businesses.
Immediately after the announcement of the results, the Voyager token (VGX) added 3.76% and traded around 76 cents.
Recall that Voyager Digital filed for bankruptcy in July of this year.
